Smith & Wesson 32 Cal. Self-Lubricating Box

Smith & Wesson 32 Cal. empty self-lubricating bullet box. This is probably the earliest known example of a Smith & Wesson self-lubed box still in existence. This is not a UMC box, but a S&W box. This S&W box in no way resembles the UMC box in its style of manufacturer. S&W probably contracted the box from a private maker and filled and labeled them in-house with UMC made cartridges. S&W did this for a very short time before UMC took over the manufacturing and marketing of the self-lubricating bullet.

Oriental Powder Mills Poster

This extremely rare poster is the only one know to exist and will be featured in an article on the history of G.G. Newhall and Oriental Powder Co. The article will be in the next issue of Hunting & Fishing Collectibles Magazine.

Hunter Arms Co. Pocket Mirror

This extremely rare celluloid pocket mirror measures 2" and shows no makers name. This wonderful Hunter Arms advertising piece is made with the same quality as their guns and is the only one known to exist. The mirror was probably made for a woman and this would explain the rarity of this item.

US Cartridge Company Counter Display

This rare display has vibrant colors along with a unique image which certainly gets the company's message across.

Merchant's Shot Works Display

Western Cartridge Company Monarch 12Ga. Shotshell Box

This extremely rare two piece box was manufactured in St. Louis and was found with 25 fired UMC Monarch shells inside. The box was originally a Marvel and was over labeled with the Monarch label. This box along with about 200 others will be featured in one of our next books.
